West London Business will be back at MIPIM, Cannes for 2026, and will be hosting a breakfast once again!

West London Business will once again be at the international real estate conference held in Cannes, France between Tuesday 10 March and Thursday 12 March 2026.

Our 'landing breakfast' on Tuesday 10 March will convene political and business leaders to discuss West London's key 2026 innovation and development plans.

 

Join us at Table 22 on Tuesday 10 March, 0900 for 0930 prompt start, to get an overview of all that is happening in our sub-region.  We will be focusing on West London growth opportunities including the HS2, OPDC's developments, West London Orbital, Golden Mile and its plans for a CreaTech Innovative District adding to WestTech London's Corridor, and not least Heathrow's expansion.  There's a lot to cover.

Cllr Tom Bruce, Deputy Leader, Hounslow Council

Tom is leading Hounslow Council’s ambitious regeneration and development agenda, driving forward a bold vision to create thriving, sustainable communities and unlock the borough’s economic potential. As Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Development, Tom is championing major investment in housing, infrastructure, and placemaking, ensuring that growth benefits residents and businesses alike.

A Hounslow councillor since 2010, Tom has been at the forefront of strategic developments, including the Opportunity Hounslow Business Case for Growth, the transformation of Feltham, and the revitalisation of Brentford Town Centre. His leadership is instrumental in securing funding, fostering partnerships, and steering major regeneration projects that deliver affordable homes, job creation, and high-quality public spaces.

 

Simon Harding-Roots, Regional Managing Director South, Muse Places

Simon is a senior real estate executive with extensive experience in leading major urban regeneration projects, investment, and asset management in the UK, Asia, and the Middle East. Currently the Regional Managing Director of Muse Places, he previously held key leadership roles at The Crown Estate, Grosvenor, and Imperial College London.

 

 

Neil Impiazzi, Partnership Development Director, SEGRO

Neil is a senior figure in the UK industrial and regeneration landscape, best known for his long‑standing leadership role at SEGRO, one of Europe’s major industrial and logistics property companies.

 

Bill Price, Director, WSP

Bill is the Director of Strategic Growth at WSP, a global leading professional services firm. With a background in structural engineering, Bill has significant expertise in managing large, complex multidisciplinary projects and transit-oriented developments. His portfolio spans a diverse range of building schemes such as tall buildings, commercial offices, sports and hospitality venues, cultural and performance spaces, and residential developments. Notably, he played a pivotal role in the early design stages of The Shard, a landmark mixed-use building at London Bridge, and more recently supported Paddington Square, a major regeneration scheme.

 

Amanda Wolthuizen, Vice-President (Strategic Engagement and Communications), Imperial College London

Reporting to the President, Amanda is responsible for the development and implementation of Imperial’s Strategy, Science for Humanity. Amanda has responsibility for Communications, International Relations, Public Affairs, the Imperial Policy Forum and the Strategy Management Office. Amanda is also Chief of Staff to the President.

Amanda joined Imperial as Head of Public Affairs before being appointed Chief of Staff to the President and Director of Public Affairs. Prior to joining Imperial, Amanda held senior communications and external affairs roles at a Westminster think tank and the Russell Group, and she was previously a broadcast journalist producing a range of documentary, political and current affairs programming including the UK’s first General Election Debate. She started her career working in policy and adviser roles in the Australian and UK Parliaments. Amanda is an Associate Fellow at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, and is a member of the Mayor’s Grow London Advisory Board.
