Geoffrey Rodgers

Vice-Chancellor of Enterprise and Employment Professor Geoff Rodgers from Brunel University has been project co-investigator of the Park Royal Industrial Area, the setting for the Place-Based Impact Accelerator Account (PBIAA) which has recently received £2.5 million by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). This will be a 4 year project in which Brunel will be collaborating with food manufacturers based at Park Royal in West London to come up with innovative ways of reducing the emissions of food supply systems towards net zero. Brunel will utilise its expertise within engineering, materials and manufacturing including within food supply chains alongside the civic sectors, enabling Brunel academics to engage and collaborate in impact activities cementing relationships within Park Royal it has developed over the past two years.
